Day 01: Cochin – Munnar (140kms 4 hrs 30 min)
You are greeted on arrival at the Kochi international airport /railway station. On arrival we will proceed to Munnar, the beautiful hill station on the Western Ghats at about 1600 meters above sea level. Attraction on the drive include Spice Plantations, Valara waterfalls, Cheeyappara waterfalls, Karadippara view point, Attukkad water fall view etc. Once you reach Munnar, check in to the hotel and go for a stroll in the Munnar town.
Day 02: Munnar
After Breakfast explore Munnar, this is town is situated at the confluence of the three mountain streams Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. There are also lakes, reservoirs, forests and several tea estates. One must see the Eravikulam - Rajamala National Park known for its Nilgiri Thar (a mountain Goat). This national park is situated in the Munnar forest division. Later visit the Indo Swiss Dairy Farm project, here are about 100 varieties of high yielding cattle are reared. Visit the rose garden. Opposite the Swiss farm is the Mattupaty Lake a beautiful lake surrounded by an excellent golf course. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 03: Munnar – Thekkady (110 kms 3 hrs)
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel in Munnar and drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is well known for one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves - Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km and is well known for its wild life and scenic beauty. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later in the afternoon leave for Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary to board the safari boat to view wildlife in their natural habitat. If you’re, lucky you may see Wild Elephants, king cobra, other reptiles, wild boar, tiger, leopard, & monkeys. Return to your hotel for overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Thekkady – Alleppey (160 kms 4 hrs)
After having breakfast at the hotel transfer to Alleppey. On arrival, board the houseboat which is also known as Kettuvallams, from the jetty. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through beautiful rivers and canals with palm trees, coconut trees, villages, paddy fields, churches etc. on either side. Experience the toddy outside. Enjoy the delicious and traditional Kerala food. Overnight stay is in houseboat.
Day 05: Alleppey – Cochin (70 kms 2 hrs)
Morning, after the breakfast checkout from the houseboat and proceed to Cochin for sightseeing. Explore Fort Kochi Places to visit in Kochi include Fort Cochin still keeping alive its ancient Jewish traditions, the Santa Cruz basilica, Mattancherry Palace, St. Francis Church and much more. The Jews Street and Chinese fishing nets are a must see. We will pick you for your trip back home by afternoon, feeling contended about a wonderful honeymoon you spent at God's Own Country like so many of our guests till now.
