Munnar is renowned for its flavoured and best teas. If you are a tea lover, then Kannan Devan Hills Plantations is a must-visit. It produces superior tea in its estates, processes it in factories, and trades them in sales outlets across Munnar at reasonable rates.

Tea Museum (The Tata Tea Museum) is one of the best portions of Munnar. The museum here has centuries-old souvenirs and conveys knowledge about the processes of tea making. You can see several pictures of tea plantations from olden times and the machinery used in their production. One can also visit a demonstration room where tea is tested for quality and flavour.
